Youth Development

Middle and high
school aged youth are provided experiences in areas including, community service,
grant making, political advocacy, improving community and youth relationships,
communication and teamwork. Programs are focused on providing youth with key
experiences that help them to grow into productive and contributing members
of our community or any community in which they choose to reside. This area
also includes the coordination of the St. Vrain Valley response to the Youth

Did you know.....

...that Children and Youth Resources is a primary sponsor of Assets for Youth, a local initiative to build developmental assets in youth? Developmental assets are 40 strengths that all young people need in order to grow up healthy. The more of these assets young people have, the less likely they are to become involved in "risky" behaviors and the more likely they are to engage in positive, healthy behaviors.
