Paying by Credit or Debit Card, Utility Billing
Paying your monthly utility bill is as easy as using your credit or debit card. The City of Longmont now accepts Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express debit and credit cards for payment of your utility bill.
Customers can pay by debit or credit card 4 ways.
1.) The first method is to register for account access on-line and pay at your own convenience over the web. You can register by visiting the Utility Billing website and following the instructions.
2) Another way is to sign up for recurring credit card payments, so that your credit card is charged automatically each month on your due date. This can be done by calling our office at 303 651-8664 to sign up for this service or by logging into your on-line account and under the "Update Profile" area, select "Signup for Recurring Credit Card Payments".
3) You can also call us during business hours to pay over the phone each month. You can also visit the Civic Center Complex, 350 Kimbark Street, at either the Cashier or Utility Billing windows.
4) The City has just implemented a internal voice response option for you to pay your City bill with a credit/debit card by phone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. You will need your account number, you can find this on your billing statement under your name in the blue box, remember the numbers before the dash are your customer number and the numbers after the dash are your premise number, your credit or debit card and any touch tone phone. A rotary dial phone will not work. Please dial (303) 774-4370 option 4 for English. For Spanish (303) 774-4370, option 4, then option 3.
Office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM.
