Large Item Collection, Trash
Collection
In an effort to keep Longmont clean
and beautiful, the City of Longmont Public Works Operations has arranged its
Large Item Collection Program to help you dispose of your large and bulky
items and debris easily and conveniently.
Call Public Works Operations at
303-651-8416 before you place your items out for collection and a member of
the Public Works Operations Support Team will give you an estimate for removal
costs over the phone. Collection costs a minimum of $33.32 and varies according
to what you need to have picked up.
A Support Team member will schedule your pickup for Thursday of the current week, have items out for collection by 7:00 a.m. Please do not place items out prior to Wednesday evening
of your scheduled collection week (early placement is prohibited by Longmont
City Code and violators will be cited).
Based on driver verification of
the estimate you will be billed the actual cost for the service on your next
utility bill.
The City will
not collect the following materials:

and debris produced by contracted services, such as construction, remodeling
or landscape services, in or about the dwelling; concrete, rocks, dirt, sod;
