Public Works Solid Waste Operations offers help with cleaning and disposal of your tree limbs. Tree limbs, branches, bushes, and leaves can be dropped off at the City Tree Limb Diversion Center which is located at 140 Martin Street.
Effective Monday April 19, 2010
The Tree Limb Diversion Center will change the Operating Hours.
(The time we are open for public access to the tree limb and bulk recycling)
Hours of Operation will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8:30 am to 5:45 pm
Closed on Sundays
There is no additional charge to residents of Longmont. Just cut the limbs to manageable lengths and unload them at the designated area in the Center (no trash, no bags, no grass clippings/weeds or other debris please). The limbs are ground into a mulch which is great for summer gardening and is available to residents at the Center free of charge – just help yourself!
IMPORTANT: Please be sure to bring a City of Longmont Utility Bill and identification to show that you are a City resident paying for trash/recycling services. Non-residents who do not pay our waste management fee will have to pay at the window (cash or checks only) as the Tree Limb Diversion Center is free only to these residents.The Tree Limb Diversion is located at 140 Martin St. While it is in the same location, it is now combined with the Longmont Recycle Center.
