Public Works Solid Waste Operations hosts a Large Item Stop-N-Drop once a year at the Public Works Maintenance Facility 375 Airport Road from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Customers may bring large and bulky household items for disposal. City employees will unload your items for you so you need to remain in your vehicle when on the Public Works Operations property.
You must bring a City of Longmont utility bill to the Stop-N-Drop, as the program is available at no additional cost to Longmont City refuse collection customers only.
The following items will not be accepted during the Stop-N-Drop Program: household waste, dirt, rock, sod, concrete, roofing materials, chemicals, limbs, yard waste, tires, auto parts, hazardous waste or refrigerators.
