The Internet offers a wonderful tool for caregivers with little time, or who are homebound, who are looking for caregiver support, health information, eldercare resources or books to read.

AARP maintains this site with lots of caregiving tips, including help for the long distance caregiver

Helps you identify what programs may improve quality of life
Children of Aging Parents provide information on caregiver health awareness, support and referral

Family Caregiver Alliance gives information on the Paid Family Leave Act, there's a caregiver online support group and a Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender support group

The GO Catalog . This is the Longmont Senior Center's quarterly publication that gives you information on classes, trips, resource and services information for those 55+. You can pick up a copy at the Longmont Senior Center, download The GO in pdf form from our website or call Senior Services at 303-651-8411.

Care Connections. This newsletter is designed for caregivers and is published by Boulder County Aging Services Division. Pick up your copy at the Longmont Senior Center or call 303-441-3570 or email for subscription information.

Lending Library - Boulder County Aging Services maintains a lending library. Their library is housed in the County offices at 529 Coffman St., Longmont. Call 303-678-6286 for details.
