A Mud Hen or Coot is a marsh bird with short wings and long legs that inhabits swamps or marshes. Your Open Space sales tax hard at work for you! The 3.5 miles of trail around Lake McIntosh and other park improvements were made possible through the use of Open Space sales tax dollars that you, the Citizens of Longmont, voted for in November of 2000. Thank you for your Open Space support.

Strollers are welcome.

Due to the presence of wildlife, thank you for leaving your dogs at home.
