Longmont Recreation Services' Sunset Swimming Pool is a heated outdoor pool with six lap lanes, a large wading area, three diving boards, and two fast and fun waterslides. The pool is surrounded by both grass and sand areas with magnificent mountain views - a complete attraction for the entire family! Pool depth ranges from approximately 6 inches deep at the shallow end to 11 feet deep in the diving well.
No membership is required: our facility is open to both residents of Longmont and non-residents. Go to admittance fee page. Quarterly swim passes are not valid at Sunset Pool. 20 visit-passes, annual passes, and summer passes are accepted. Outdoor-only passes are available, more information available on the admittance fee page.
Last Lifeguard Bash at Sunset Pool! A special evening at Sunset Pool for past and present employees of Sunset Pool on September 6, Labor Day, from 5:30-8:30pm.

*Adult Lap swims share pool space with other activities. All lanes may not be available for lap swimming at all times. Circle swimming is encouraged. Patrons who are 16 and older are considered adults. |

There are no refunds for inclement weather. Refund policy: Colorado weather can be unpredictable. Please note that there are No refunds for admittance fees due to weather related closures. If in doubt of the weather, please ask for a receipt when paying. Receipts may be used at an indoor facitility the same day in the event of a temporary weather closure. Sunset Pool strives to remain open during all scheduled hours, but for safety reasons cannot be open during heavy rain, lightning and thunder. |

Sunset Pool is available for parties and facility rentals!
Hold your own special event at Recreation Services' Sunset Pool! Reserve a
special time either before or after regularly scheduled hours. Rental
time is started when the facility is open to the group and ends when the
facility is empty and locked at the completion of the rental. When making
your reservation, consider the time needed to set up decorations as well as
the clean up and shower time of your guests. Prices can be adjusted to
accommodate this extra time. The entire rental fee is due when making the
reservation, 1/2 is refundable if you choose to cancel. All necessary staff is included
in the rental fee.
Fee: $110.00 for the first hour, $90.00 each additional hour.
Full Facility Rental Availability: Fri/Sat/Sun after 7pm, Sundays before 11am.
Tent Shelter Reservations:
Shade shelters are stand-alone colorful canopies that are spread throughout
Sunset Pool. During open swim, shade shelters are utilized as a first come, first
served prime pool side location. The only way to secure this prime shade real estate
is to make a reservation in advance. Shade shelters are a great way to host parties and celebrations while keeping your guests together in a central spot. You can bring
in your own food and non-alcoholic beverages (please no glass containers).
Reservations are only available during Open Swim Hours.
The rental fee is non-refundable.
Fee: $25.00 for up to 3 hours plus group rate admittance fee for all guests whether they choose to swim or not. If you would like to rent a shelter for
more than 3 hours, another $25.00 will be charged.
Sunset Pool Main Shelter Reservation:
The Sunset Pool Main Shelter is located closest to the shallow play area near the
golf course. Reservations are only available during Open swim Hours. The rental fee
is non-refundable.
Fee: $35 for up to 3 hours plus group rate admittance fee for all guests whether
they choose to swim or not.
Call Centennial Pool with any questions and to reserve over the phone with a debit/credit card. Any other method of payment can be done at the Centennial Pool
front desk.
Full payment is due at the time of reservation.

Last Lifeguard Bash at Sunset Pool:
We are planning for 2010 to be our last summer of having our 1960's bathhouse at Sunset Pool. Plans are underway and demolition is scheduled for Fall 2010. The grand opening of The Village at Sunset Pool will be in May 2011. All former lifeguards from the 60's through 2010 are invited to attend this Last Bash Gala. Planning has begun.
