Sunset Swimming Pool

Longmont Recreation Services' Sunset Swimming Pool is a heated outdoor pool with six lap lanes, a large wading area, three diving boards, and two fast and fun waterslides. The pool is surrounded by both grass and sand areas with magnificent mountain views - a complete attraction for the entire family! Pool depth ranges from approximately 6 inches deep at the shallow end to 11 feet deep in the diving well.

No membership is required: our facility is open to both residents of Longmont and non-residents. Go to admittance fee page. Quarterly swim passes are not valid at Sunset Pool. 20 visit-passes, annual passes, and summer passes are accepted. Outdoor-only passes are available, more information available on the admittance fee page.

There are traffic lights at 9th Ave at both Hover and Sunset Streets, and at 3rd Ave and Hover. There are four way stops at 3rd at Sunset St and at Longs Peak and Sunset Street.
*Lap swims share pool space with other activities. All lanes may not be available for lap swimming at all times. Circle swimming is encouraged.	*The facility will close 15 minutes after the last swimming session. Please plan your shower time accordingly.
There are no refunds for inclement weather.

Sunset Pool is available for parties and facility rentals!

Hold your own special event at Recreation Services' Pools by reserving

your special time either before or after regularly scheduled hours. Rental

time is started when the facility is open to the group and ends when the

facility is empty and locked at the completion of the rental. When making

your reservation, consider the time needed to set up decorations as well as

the clean up and shower time of your guests. Prices can be adjusted to

accommodate this extra time. The entire rental fee is due when making the

reservation, 1/2 is refundable if you choose to cancel.

Fee: $110.00 for the first hour, $90.00 each additional hour.

Full Facility Rental Availability: Mon/Wed After 8:00pm,

Tuesdays after 7:00pm, Fri/Sat/Sun After 7pm, and Sundays before 11:00am

Shade Shelter Rentals:

Rent one of the shade shelters during open swim hours at Sunset Pool.

It is a great way to host parties and celebrations while keeping your guests

together in a central spot. You can bring in your own food and non-alcoholic

beverages (please no glass containers). The rental fee is non-refundable.

Fee: $25.00 for up to 3 hours. If you would like to rent a shelter for

more than 3 hours, another $25.00 will be charged.
