Longmont Recreation Services offers camps for youth of all ages during both the summer months and throughout the school year. Camps listed are samples of the types of camps offered by Longmont Recreation Services. Preschool Sports Clinics (Ages 3 to 5 years)
These clinics will focus on FUN, including basic ball handling, passing, catching, hitting, dribbling, and scoring skills for preschoolers. Held at the Longmont Recreation Center, 310 Quail, come in and enjoy a workout while the little one also burns some energy.

Jr Princess Workshop
Everybody loves to play dress-up! In this workshop we
will learn to draw ourselves in “glamour” wear. Learn to
draw accessories including purses, crowns and jewelry.
Draw simple faces with crowns and hats then draw figures
wearing fancy gowns with a variety of accessories. Step-by-
step Young Rembrandts drawing techniques will insure
our success!

Enchanted Wizards
From drawing an enchanted forest to a day at the races
with dragons, it’s nothing but fun in our classroom. The final

This stylish Young Rembrandts workshop is tailored for the aspiring fashionista. Join us for 5 days of runway chic as we illustrate the various aspects of fashion design. Hip hairstyles and awesome accessories will adorn the close-up drawings of our beautiful models. Step into the shoes of a fashion magazine editor s you design and draw an eye-catching magazine cover. And let's not forget about purses! Design the perfect purse to go along with the outfit of your dreams. And finally, draw your model stepping onto the runway in your fashion originals. If you love to design clothes and are hip to the latest fashions, this drawing workshop is for you.

Basketball Ball Handling Camp

Lego Pre-Engineering Play-Well TEKnologies
Have your child become a Play-Well Engineer! Students will build cities, bridges, and motorized cars/planes and explore the many creative possibilities of engineering with the LEGO system. With access to over 100,000 pieces of LEGO, your child will have the opportunity to build what they have only dreamed of with the support of an experienced Play-Well Engineering instructor to guide them. Lego Engineering Play-Well TEK
Students will take on real-life engineering challenges that explore concepts in physics, architecture, and mechanical and structural engineering. From race cars to Battletracks, this camp is suitable for LEGO novices to "maniacs". Instruction will be provided by staff, but familiarity with LEGO Technique is desirable. LEGOs are for in-class use only.

The American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course provides the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in 5 critical areas: leadership, safety and safe play, basic care, first aid, and professionalism.
