Xeriscape Garden at Quail CampusWater-Wise Landscaping Seminars

April 9, 2012 - April 17, 2012

Water-Wise Landcaping Seminars will be held April 9th through April 17th at several Boulder County locations, including Longmont.

Free seminars are being offered to Longmont residents on how to successfully utilize water-wise landscaping. Past topics have ranged from design, installation and renovation of xeriscapes, to plant selection and efficient irrigation. Seminars are two hours and are Free and open to the public.

The classes are free and open to the public, but you must register.

Xeriscape for Pollinators

Low-water gardens can be a wonderful home for butterflies and other pollinators. In this seminar we will provide you with the information and steps needed to have a lush garden that provides a fruitful habitat for pollinators of all shapes and sizes.

Using Nature’s Way to Water Your Landscape

Ever wondered how you can put rain water to use in your landscape? Alison Peck, owner of Martix Gardens, will give you tips and how-to’s on using natural precipitation to save water and create a lush landscape.
