Left Hand Creek Flood Control Project Open House

The City of Longmont and DeFalco Construction invite you to attend an Open House to learn more about a city improvement project intended to reduce the floodplain in the Southmoor Park area. The project has been designed so that homes and other buildings in the area will not be damaged by the 100‐year flood. Some of the planned improvements include a new bridge and pedestrian underpass at South Pratt Parkway, upgrades to the drainage channel along Main Street, and replacement of two pedestrian bridges. The primary location of these improvements will be on South Pratt Parkway between Main Street and Pike Road.

The walking and cycling route map on the back of this page provides more information about how to safely travel to Burlington Elementary School during construction. You may also visit the project website at www.ci.longmont.co.us.
