RANGE NOW ACCEPTING MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS

An advisory committee, composed of Longmont residents and representatives of shooting enthusiasts, continue to meet in order to develop the facility for use by residents. This group has developed policy, safety procedures, fee structures, access, and how to best meet the needs of those who would want to use the facility. Safety concerns were addressed throughout the policy development and allows for access to shooters of all experience levels.

The advisory group is also looking at partnerships with the Colorado Department of Parks and Wildlife for hunter safety courses as well as other organizations for their use in developed programs. There has also been discussion to provide set dates and times for sighting in of hunting rifles. Access for organized youth shooting teams will also be incorporated into the program.

Operation Information

PUBLIC USE - MEMBERSHIP ONLY- HOURS OF OPERATION

The range offers weekend hours for public shooting. Reservation can be made on-line after the approval of your application and attendance in the safety orientation class. Please call (303)774-4587 for information. (Calls are returned on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday). Double hearing protection required.

Friday 6pm - 9pm
Saturday 8am - 5pm
Sunday 8am - 5pm

Reservation System in partnership with the City of Longmont - Recreation Services

The range will offer shooting from a 25 yard position with target retrievers controlled by the shooter. There will be advertised days where shooting will be conducted from the 75 yard and 100 yard line for rifles. Ten shooting lanes will be available.

2013 SUNDAY RANGE CALENDAR

The range offers a specialty schedule on Sunday's from 8am until 5pm. Double hearing protection required. For additional information please email or call (303)774-4587.
