
CURRENT CLASSES AND INSTRUCTION AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC
Gun Safety and Shooting Course for Women Only. Instructors from the Longmont Police Department. Learn how to safely store, carry, hold, and shoot a firearm. This class will be a combination of classroom and practical exercise and is appropriate for the beginner to intermediate shooter.
- Gain knowledge and the skill to identify and handle aspects of the shooting sport to include the fundamentals of marksmanship, reloads, and malfunctions.
- Enhance upon your existing skills through professional and personalized instruction.
- Bring 200 rounds with your own weapon.
Class is held at the Longmont Police Department and Boulder County Sheriff's Office Range and Training Facility. For women who are 18 years of age or older. $200 (checks payable to City of Longmont or credit cards accepted). Class size limited to 20.
