The following projects are public hearing items:
6. Longmont Area Comprehensive Plan Update, PZR 2012-9A, B, C, Senior Planner Erin Fosdick (3.88MB)
Location: City wide
Purpose: An update to the Longmont Area Comprehensive Plan (LACP) to include a Community Health and Wellness chapter. Text amendments propose to add language concerning healthy eating and active living. Additional text amendments propose to make changes to the existing Transportation Chapter.
PZ: PZ makes a recommendation to the City Council who is the Decision Making Body on this application. The application has elements which
are both legislative and quasi-judicial elements and as such, should be treated as a quasi-judicial proceeding
7. Roosevelt Part Apartments, PZR 2012-8A, B, C, Senior Planner Don Burchett (50.3MB)
Location: West of Main Street, north of Longs Peak Avenue and west of Coffman Street
Purpose: A proposed redevelopment project for a mixed use building and parking structure consisting of ground floor retail and 114 apartments with a 185 space parking structure. A proposal to rezone the property from C - Commercial to MU - Mixed use with a concept plan/site plan a replat and a vacation of easements and rights-of-way.
PZ: PZ makes a recommendation to the City Council who is the Decision Making Body on this application. The application has elements which
are both legislative and quasi-judicial elements and as such, should be treated as a quasi-judicial proceeding.
Purpose: Amendments to Section 15.02.120 (Public and common/private improvement review, construction and acceptance) of the Land Development Code.
PZ: PZ makes a recommendation to the City Council who is the Decision Making Body on this application. The application has elements which
are both legislative and quasi-judicial elements and as such, should be treated as a quasi-judicial proceeding.
Purpose: Amendments to revise Chapter 15.09 (Enforcement and Penalties) of the Land Development Code.
PZ: PZ makes a recommendation to the City Council who is the Decision Making Body on this application. The application has elements which
are both legislative and quasi-judicial elements and as such, should be treated as a quasi-judicial proceeding.
