The following projects are public hearing items:
10. Quail Campus Land Use Amendment, Senior Planner Don Burchett(945KB)
Location: North of the City of Longmont Recreation Center, south of Left Hand Creek and east of Main Street.
Purpose: The City of Longmont is proposing a land use amendment to change the current land use designation of this parcel from Public/Quasi Public to Parks/Greenways/Open Space. The change will allow the comprehensive plan designation to match the future uses of the Quail Campus Master Plan that City Council adopted for this property.
PZ: PZ makes a recommendation to the City Council who is the Decision Making Body on this application. The application has elements which are both legislative and quasi-judicial elements and as such, should be treated as a quasi-judicial proceeding.
11. Quail Commercial Center Annexation and LACP Amendment, Senior Planner Don Burchett(14.2MB)
Location: Generally located at the northeast corner of US Highway 287 and Quail Road
Purpose: A proposed annexation of 11.6 acres located at the northeast corner of U.S. Highway 287 and Quail Road with a comprehensive plan amendment to change the land use from strip commercial and medium density residential to parks and open space, neighborhood commercial and public.
PZ: PZ makes a recommendation to the City Council who is the Decision Making Body on this application. The application has elements which are both legislative and quasi-judicial elements and as such, should be treated as a quasi-judicial proceeding.
12. Verizon Wireless at Fox Hill Clubhouse, Senior Planner Ava Pecherzewski (3.4MB)
Location:1400 E. Hwy. 119
Purpose:Conditional Use Site Plan application from Verizon Wireless to add 12 roof-mounted wireless antennas to the Fox Hill Country Club clubhouse. The antennas will be screened with a stucco wall to match the existing architecture. An 11'x26' equipment box will be located on the ground behind the clubhouse building and will be screened with landscaping.
PZ: P/Z is the Decision Making Body and the P/Z’s action is final unless appealed within 7 days. If appealed, the City Council will review the appeal within 60 days of the appeal. This is a quasi-judicial proceeding.
