Application to Designate your Property - Are you interested in designating your home? The first step in the process is to fill out an application for local landmark designation. After filling out the application set up a time to meet with the Historic Preservation staff person by calling 303-651-8330.

Finding of Significance - The finding of significance form is a document the Historic Preservation Commission uses to document the levels of significance a potential landmark satisfies. The Liaison or Chairperson fills out the form. At the Public hearing the Finding of Significance form is read into the record. The Finding of Significance is based on standards set forth by the Secretary of the Interior and Longmont’s Historic Preservation Ordinance.

Certificate of Appropriateness - A Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) is required for any exterior improvement to a designated Landmark. The application is the first step in the process to obtain a COA. You can download a copy of the application by following the link above.
