Boston Avenue Connection Comprehensive Plan Amendment

The City of Longmont is seeking public input on the proposed Boston Avenue Connection Comprehensive Plan Amendment. Due to the project’s scope, the alignment must be reflected on the Longmont Area Comprehensive Plan map prior to any future construction. The project is currently unfunded and the schedule for construction is unknown at this time. The Boston Avenue Connection Comprehensive Plan amendment proposes the following three actions:

  1. Connect the broken link across Price Road and the railroad tracks.
  2. Upgrade the portion of Boston Avenue between Price Road and Main Street from a local street to a neighborhood collector street.
  3. Extend Boston Avenue from Main Street to Martin Street

The City is proposing to present the Boston Avenue Connection Comprehensive Plan amendment to the Planning and Zoning Commission in September and City Council in September and October.
