The McIntosh District Park Phase 4 project will provide two trail connections from the park loop trail. One connection will be on the west end of Dawson Park to 17th Avenue at the Lakeshore Drive intersection. The second connection will be from the west end of the current concrete trail terminus north of Lake McIntosh Farms, to 17th Avenue. These trails will improve connectivity for residents to the street system and to trail extensions planned in the future.

A public open house was held on Thursday December 6, 2012. Potential trail connection alignments were available for public viewing and comments. A summary of those comments is available at the link below.
In response to the public comment received plans were revised. See the links below for trail connections on the west side of Dawson Park, and on the west side of Lake McIntosh Farms subdivision across the newly acquired Fowler property.
