Wildlife Management Plans Posted for Public Comment
Two Wildlife Management Plans are currently posted for public comment. Comments will be accepted until May 20, 2009. The plans are for Quicksilver Farm, part of the St. Vrain Greenway Phase 7b project, and for Quail Campus. See Current Requests at the following webpage:

In
November of 2000, the citizens of Longmont voted to approve an additional
0.2 cent (two tenths of a cent) sales tax to be specifically used for the
acquisition and development of Open Space in and around our community. In
May of 2002, City Council approved the Open
Space & Trails Master Plan.
