Shredding Event on Saturday, October 12
October 9, 2013 - Longmont residents who have been affected by the floods may have sensitive documents that prefer to have those documents shredded can bring those documents Saturday, October 12, 9 am to 2 pm, to the Waste Diversion Center located at 140 Martin Street. Your documents will be accepted at the shredding event as long as they are mostly dry and not moldy. Please drain any water out of your boxes or files and dry them out as much as possible. If your documents are moldy or too wet, we cannot accept them for shredding. A second option for moldy or wet documents is to place them in the compost bin at the Waste Diversion Center and the documents will be destroyed in the composting process. Please bring your recent City of Longmont utility bill showing the Waste Management fee for access to the shredding event. Sorry, no businesses. This event is for residential documents only. Walk-up for a fee not allowed. For more information on this event please call the Public Works & Natural Resources Call Center at 303-651-8416.
