Spring Reminder: Help Longmont to Look its Best

May 9, 2013 - Want to help our community look beautiful this spring? Remember to keep flyers and graffiti off of City property. With more than 12,000 electric poles around the City, and additional traffic lights, street signs and utility boxes, the job of removing flyers with their adhesive residue, and cleaning graffiti, can be time consuming. The end result: an unsightly community and additional maintenance costs.

Please think twice about posting flyers on Longmont City property. It’s against municipal code to paint or hang signs on City-owned equipment and facilities. Keeping poles clean helps avoid potential fines, reduces maintenance costs, and preserves the neat appearance of Longmont’s neighborhoods. If you see graffiti or flyers posted on City property, please call the City at 303-776-6050 to report.
