OCTOBER 6, 2011 - As part of the City of Longmont’s County Line Road Improvement Project, County Line Road between Ken Pratt Boulevard (SH 119) and 9th Avenue will be closed to through traffic starting at 6:00 am on Wednesday, October 12. County Line Road is scheduled to re-open by 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 12. During the road closure, the Great Western Railroad will be performing additional improvements to the existing railroad crossing.
Although County Line Road will be closed to through traffic, local access between Ken Pratt Boulevard (SH 119) and 9th Avenue will be maintained. Access to WCR 26 and the Union Reservoir Recreational Area will be maintained via south bound County Line Road to WCR 26.
A traffic detour route has been designed and will be set-up as indicated on the following map:
