DECEMBER 2, 2010 - The City Manager of the City of Longmont is currently accepting applications for volunteer positions on the Longmont Police Department Professional Standards Review Panel.
The panel reviews highly confidential information, including internal investigations and allegations of misconduct, and makes findings to the Chief of Police. Panel members must be able to read and comprehend large investigations in order to make appropriate findings.
Special requirements: Applicants must be registered voters of the City of Longmont for at least one year prior to appointment. Applicants with misdemeanor convictions in the past five years or any felony convictions ever, will not be considered for the panel. Current employees of any law enforcement agency, as well as immediate family members of Longmont Police Department employees are not eligible for appointment.
