MAY 27, 2010 - Longmont Recreation Services invites all middle school youth (incoming 6th through 8th graders) to sign up for four days of FREE Move It! Swim Lessons. The lessons will be held at Sunset Pool, 1900 Longs Peak Avenue, Tuesday through Friday, June 1-4, at your choice of three times: 9 am, 9:45 am, or 10:30 am. All levels of swimmers, including non-swimmers, are welcome. Registration is accepted at Centennial Pool, 1201 Alpine St, (303) 651-8406, or online at www.ci.longmont.co.us/rec.
The FREE swim lessons at Sunset Pool for middle school youth is made possible by Longmont Recreation Services, State Farm Insurance, and the State Farm Youth Advisory Board. The State Farm Youth Advisory Board has provided grant funds to promote physical activity of middle school youth, their families, and the community.
