Talk Directly with Longmont City Council Members and Public Safety Staff
OCTOBER 30, 2009 - Mayor Roger Lange and City Council Member Brian Hansen will host a Town Meeting on Saturday, November 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Spangler Elementary School, 1440 Collyer Street. For this final Town Meeting of 2009, City staff from Police, Animal Control, Code Enforcement and the City Attorney's Office will be available to answer your questions about public safety issues.
This is a unique opportunity to get answers on a variety of public safety questions such as how to report a barking dog, what to do when the emergency sirens sound or how to dispute a traffic ticket. This is a chance to ask Council Members about the public safety tax or the City's new fire station. No question is off limits.
The Town Meeting format is a bit more formal than the monthly Coffee with Council chats, but you still will have an opportunity to speak with the Council members and voice your opinion on the topics discussed.
