MARCH 6, 2009 - In association with the Division of Wildlife, the City of Longmont’s Park and Open Space Division invites kids (15 and younger) and their families to the 6th Annual Spring Fishing Extravaganza on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Izaak Walton Pond, 18 S. Sunset.
Bring your fishing gear and join us for:
Free Fishing (kids 15 and younger only)
Free hot dogs and pop for the whole family (10:30-1pm)
Free Fishing Clinic – any age (8:30am-12:30pm)
Free rods and reels, while they last, from the Colorado Division of Wildlife for completing Clinic.
The lake was recently stocked with Rainbow Trout, Channel Catfish and Largemouth Bass. Kids are allowed to bring bait and to take home their fish. For more information, please call 303-651-8446.
