Outdoor Warning System Test on Monday
The City’s Outdoor Emergency Warning System (OEWS) is being tested at 10 am on Monday, June 3. The system is tested the first Monday of every month through August. Other than for testing, the system will be used only to notify the community when immediate action should be taken. If you hear the sirens and it is not the first Monday of the month at 10 am, seek shelter immediately and tune to local media for information.
Visit Sandstone Ranch This Summer

A nature trail takes you past several historical buildings near the sandstone bluffs and to a scenic overlook. Numerous species of wildlife and birds are seen frequently on the property, including white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, bald eagles and red-tailed hawks. Visitor Center hours June 4 through October are Tuesdays 9 am to noon, second and fourth Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm, and family nights on June 25 and July 23 from 6 to 8 pm. Admission is free, and volunteers are welcome! Call 303-774-4692 or visit www.ci.longmont.co.us/rec for more information.
