Free Workshop on Resources for Small Business
The public is invited to “Resources to Start and Grow Your Business,” a free workshop that will introduce you to the many resources available to local businesses and those in the process of starting a business in Longmont. It will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 11, at the Longmont Public Library, 409 4th Avenue. For more information about this and other workshops, visit www.ci.longmont.co.us/library/SmallBusinessSupportWorkshops.htm. For more information on available business assistance, contact Doug Bene at 303-651-8403 or email@example.com.
Free Pharmaceutical Drop Off
Don’t flush medication down the sink or toilet! Recent studies have shown that it can pass through the treatment plant and enter the river. Bring your unused and expired medications to Longmont United Hospital at 1950 Mountain View Avenue between 8 am and 2 pm on Saturday, September 29, to be disposed of properly. There is no charge for this service, and all medications are accepted. For more information visit www.ci.longmont.co.us/pwwu/enviro/rx.htm.
