Ceremonies are held in Washington, D.C., and in communities across the country. Hosts and Sponsors Needed for Bike to Work Day
Longmont needs your business to host or sponsor a breakfast station on Bike to Work Day, June 27. This is an opportunity to promote your business, show your support for pedal power, and reward all the bike riders who participate in this annual event that supports and promotes bicycling as a commute choice. The hope is that once someone tries bicycling, it might turn into a daily routine. Breakfast stations offer free beverages and snacks to those who ride their bike to work between 6:30 and 9 am. The goal is to offer five to ten breakfast stations throughout the city. We are seeking businesses to host and/or to partner with existing venues. Anyone interested in participating can register directly at www3.drcog.org or contact the City of Longmont at bikemap@ci.longmont.co.us or call 303-651-8304.
