The public is invited to provide ideas on the scope of work that will be presented to the design consultants from 5 to 6 pm on Tuesday, April 24, at the Union Reservoir main picnic area at 0461 WCR 26. City staff will lead a discussion and hear your opinions regarding opportunities, constraints and issues that should be considered in the design of the trail. Please RSVP at 303-774-4528 or email kathy.kron@ci.longmont.co.us. Another meeting is scheduled to discuss the Pavlakis District Park - also known as St. Vrain Greenway Phase 11. A master plan meeting will be held on Thursday April 26, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at the Parks, Open Space and Public Facilities building located at 7 South Sunset Street (west across Sunset St from the Izaak Walton park pond). This park is located between Main and Martin Streets and along the St. Vrain Creek and will become the Longmont's next District Park and a trailhead for the St Vrain Greenway. Master planning work was originally done for this site with the 2001 St Vrain Greenway Master Plan, but many things have changed since that time.
