Parade of Lights in Downtown Longmont This Weekend

Start your weekend in downtown Longmont! Enjoy 2nd Fridays with in-house artists at Encore Home Styles, Live Music at Sun Rose Cafe and a reception and gallery talk at The Muse Gallery. Top off the weekend on Saturday with the Holiday Parade of Lights on Main St. starting at 5 pm. Come early to shop and grab a bite, view holiday musical performances in St. Stephen's Plaza from 2pm-5pm then claim the best spot to watch the parade!  The roof top patio at 7 West Pizzeria and Pub is a great spot to get a birds-eye view of the parade and lights. To help make your downtown experience even better during the holidays the time limit restrictions (ex. 2-hour parking) in LDDA parking lots have been lifted on Fridays for the month of December.  Stay downtown longer and visit as many shops and restaurants as you want. Remember, free all day parking every Saturday and Sunday all year.

Participants will more fully understand the strain, pain, obstacles and other challenges that people living in poverty deal with every day.
