Downtown Alley Meetings Next Week
The Downtown Alley Improvement design team will hold public meetings next week to review plans for each of the three blocks east of Main Street. All meetings are from 8 to 10 am in the Community Room of the Safety & Justice Building at 225 Kimbark Street. The 300 east block will be discussed on Tuesday, March 15; the 400 east block on Wednesday, March 16; and the 500 east block on Thursday, March 17. For more information, visit www.longmontalleys.com.

Tuesday's City Council Meeting Cancelled
This week’s city council meeting on March 15 is cancelled so that some council members can attend the National League of Cities conference and meet with Longmont’s congressional representatives in Washington, D.C. The City Council meets at 7 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month in a regular session in the Civic Center at 350 Kimbark. On the first and third Tuesday of every month, the City Council holds a study session at 7 pm in the same location. Visit www.ci.longmont.co.us to see upcoming agendas.

Small Business Lending Program
The Small Business Lending Program is a collaboration between the City and the Colorado Enterprise Fund to provide local businesses access to capital. Applicants can obtain loans of up to $50,000 for a variety of business uses, including inventory, real estate acquisition, and operating costs. Volunteer to "Sweep" Spangler Neighborhood
On Saturday, March 19, a team of volunteers will canvass Longmont’s Spangler neighborhood to make homes more efficient by installing energy and water efficiency measures. This sweep needs your help.
