Meet with City Council Over Coffee on Saturday
Longmont City Council is hosting an informal chat over coffee on Saturday, February 27, at Seattle’s Best in Borders, 1101 S Hover St., from 9 to 10 a.m. Talk with City Council members about any topic. Council Members Sean McCoy and Brian Hansen are scheduled to attend. For information about Council meetings and agendas, call the City Clerk’s Office at 303-651-8649.

Norhwest Rail Public Meeting Scheduled
RTD is hosting meetings to share information about station concept plans, track alignment, analyzed impacts and proposed mitigation in the FasTracks Economic Evaluation plan. The public will learn about the proposed rail service, and be able to provide formal comment. The meeting for the Longmont area is Thursday, March 11, 2010, 6 to 8:30 p.m., Longmont Civic Center, 350 Kimbark St.

Youth Job and Career Fair at Mall
The Youth Job and Career Fair will bring together local employers of youth ages 14-21, and information about a wide range of careers. Join us on Wednesday, March 10, from 3-6pm at the Twin Peaks Mall in the former Steve & Barry’s. Come early, come late, but just be there! City Council Seeks Board Applicants
The City Clerk's Office is currently accepting applications on behalf of Longmont City Council, for the following volunteer advisory boards: Airport Advisory Board, one member, term ends 12/31/12; Longmont Downtown Development Authority, one unexpired member, term ends 6/30/12. Applicants must be downtown district property or business owners; managers, agents, employees, or residents of the district. Applications accepted until 5:00 pm on March 3, 2010, in the City Clerk's Office, 350 Kimbark St. For more information call or visit our Online Application.
