Lykins Gulch Restoration Project Begins
The City of Longmont Public Works and Natural Resources Department is beginning the construction of the Lykins Gulch Stream Restoration Project beginning February 1 and continuing through September. This project will reconstruct a natural meandering channel from the St. Vrain River near Golden Ponds Park and Nature Area southwesterly to the intersection of Airport Road and Rogers Road. The greenway trail system will also be extended by this project. The public should expect some St. Vrain Greenway trail closures and detours occurring during the project.
