Call before you dig!

Before you dig anywhere, you need to know where underground utility lines are located. Damaging a utility line could cause significant danger and service interruptions for you and your neighbors. It could also result in fines and liability expense under state law.

Contact the Utility Notification Center of Colorado at 811 (just like dialing 911). Call at least two days in advance of when you would like to schedule service.

Call 811 before you dig anywhere Color-coded flags or paint will be placed on your property indicating where utility lines are located. This service is provided completely free to you. If you do not request a utility line location before digging, you could be responsible for the cost of repairing any damaged utility lines.
