Lanyon Mid-Town Mobile Home Park Efficiency Sweep

LPC and Boulder County's Longs Peak Energy Conservation are 'sweeping' Longmont's Lanyon Mid-Town Mobile Home Park to make homes more efficient. Volunteers will install energy and water efficiency measures such as compact fluorescent lights and low-flow shower heads in homes. Volunteers visit homes offering to the install the measures and provide efficiency information.

The program is only successful because Longmont citizens volunteer to help with the sweep.

Volunteers receive free lunch and a T-shirt for their effort. The event will take place at:

Lanyon Park in mid-town
Saturday, August 27
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
