Solar energy in Longmont

Many homes and business have installed solar electric and solar hot water systems. LPC supports solar electric systems with:

System installation:
The solar system must meet these minimum requirements:
•All requirements described in LPC's Interconnection Agreement.
•Modules and inverters listed on the California Energy Commission (CEC) web site of approved solar equipment
•All equipment must be new
•Code enforcement agency inspection
•LPC interconnection test and inspection

Currently, Longmont does not offer incentives for installing solar systems.
