Business Efficiency Programs
Business Efficiency Grant Program - Businesses and nonprofits that are looking to reduce the cost of an energy efficiency project can take advantage of LPC’s Business Efficiency Grant Program. This service will provide up to $5,000, or a limit of 75% of total costs, for qualifying projects and can be used with other efficiency grant programs. Click here to learn more.
EnergySmart Commercial Services – Businesses in LPC's service territory are eligible for Boulder County's EnergySmart. The program provides the services of an energy advisor who identifies opportunities to save energy, helps to locate a contractor and provides rebates for energy upgrades. Lighten Up - Energy used by electric lighting makes up 20-40% of a typical business customer's electric bill. To help manage these costs and save energy, this program provides funding for lighting retrofits at commercial and industrial facilities. Efficiency programs for new construction and renovations – Business customers who are constructing a new building or making substantial renovations to an existing facility can take advantage of this program. Eligible measures include heating and cooling unit upgrades, building envelope renovations and changes to variable frequency drives and refrigeration systems. Building Tune Up – Just like your car, buildings need tune-ups to perform as designed. This program provides funding to help a building's energy systems that are not operating to their original design intent or to meet the owner's needs. Renewable Power Purchase Program for Business –This program allows customers to designate a specified amount of the energy they use as renewable energy. Businesses that elect to participate pay an additional charge for each 500kWh block of energy they request to come from a renewable source. Residential Efficiency Programs
EnergySmart Residential Services – Residents in LPC's service territory are eligible for Boulder County's EnergySmart. This program assists in finding the right products for making your home more energy efficient, provides assistance to locate a contractor and provides rebates to help pay for work. Residential Appliance Rebates – These rebates offer customers an extra incentive to replace current home appliances with updated models that are more energy efficient. It provides $50 for Energy Star clothes washers, $50 for Energy Star dishwashers, $100 for high efficiency toilets and $50 for low flow toilets. To download a rebate application visit
