OEM Management Analyst Supplemental Application required to submit with on-line application for 14-0014

The City of Longmont has approximately 800 regular positions in its workforce. Throughout the year, seasonal employment opportunities increase the workforce by about another 300 positions. Job recruitment notices are also posted in the Civic Center complex at 350 Kimbark, Longmont, Colorado. The City of Longmont is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

APPLICATION PROCESS

A City application is required for all positions. The Human Resource Services Department will accept applications for OPEN positions only.

At this time you may apply for all positions on-line with the exception of Police Recruit (details available on the Police Department recruitment page) View Current Employment Opportunities.

We encourage applicants to apply on line if at all possible. If this is not an option, applications can be picked up at the Human Resource Services Department, located at 350 Kimbark (disabled access at north entrance), Longmont, Colorado 80501, Monday - Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Using the link above applicants can also download an application.

If you are mailing your application, your application must be received on the closing date by 5:00 p.m. for the position for which you are applying.

POLICE RECRUIT APPLICANTS:

If you are interested in positions with the Police Department, please visit the Police recruitment page at http://www.ci.longmont.co.us/police/geninfo/recruit.htm for additional information and requirements. All applicants must complete a City of Longmont application form, and supplemental packet which includes a Supplemental Police Officer Application with addendum questions.

HAVING PROBLEMS?

If you don't have a printer available, you can REQUEST AN APPLICATION by completing the on-line form and one will be mailed to you within 3-4 days.

When completing an application, read all instructions carefully and supply all requested information completely and correctly. All or some information supplied on your application may be verified through a background check. Making false statements, misrepresentations, or withholding facts may lead to rejection of the application or dismissal from subsequent employment.

The EEOC Form will be separated from the rest of the employment application when it is received by the Human Resources Division. The information provided will have no bearing upon your consideration for employment. The information is only used to assist us in complying with Federal Equal Employment Opportunity record keeping and reporting requirements.

Application Submittal
Applications for current vacancies must be received by the Human Resource Services Department, 350 Kimbark, Longmont, Colorado 80501, by the specified application deadline in order to be considered.

Qualifications
To be considered for a position, you must possess the minimum qualifications established for the position. As part of the selection process, examination procedures may include one or more of the following: interviews, a performance test, a polygraph and psychological examination, a background check, a drug screening or a physical examination.

Employment of Relatives
The City has no general prohibition against hiring relatives. However, our policy provides for no person to be hired, promoted, demoted, or transferred to a position which would result in such person directly, or indirectly through the department chain of command, supervising or receiving supervision from a person who is related by blood, related by marriage, or a person with whom the employee maintains a lifestyle accommodation substantially equivalent to marriage.

Notice of Application Status
Applicants are notified when a decision regarding their application has been made. Applicants invited for an interview are contacted primarily by telephone. At the end of the hiring process, all applicants are notified either by telephone or mail of the results of their application for employment.
