THE NATL WEATHER SVC IN DENVER HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN CO.

 SAINT VRAIN CREEK AT LYONS AFFECTING BOULDER COUNTY. THERE IS FLOODING ON HIGHWAY 66 NEAR LYONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN REPORTED.
STREAM RISES WILL BE SLOW & FLASH FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED.
HOWEVER.ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY.

* FLOOD WARNING FOR SAINT VRAIN CREEK AT LYONS.
* UNTIL THIS AFTERNOON.
* AT 1:15 AM THUR THE STAGE WAS 7.0 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 8.5 FEET.
* RECORD FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST.RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY EARLY THIS MORNING AND  CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 9.5 FEET EARLY THIS MORNING. THE RIVER  WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY THIS MORNING.
* IMPACT.AT 10.0 FEET.MOBILE HOME PARK & SHOPPING CENTER FLOODS  BETWEEN PRATT PARKWAY & MAIN STREET IN LONGMONT.
* FLOOD HISTORY.THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 9.1 FEET  ON JUN 1 1941.
