Obtaining Fire Reports

The Longmont Fire Department is able to provide copies of incident reports
and generate a response history reports for a given address upon request.
Specific information is required to process those requests. In some cases
it may be necessary to state the reason for the request or prove your identity
before we can release the information. If other agencies are involved, the
Longmont Fire Department will try to direct you to the appropriate agencies.
If you need a copy of a specific incident report, we need the date and address
of the incident. There is a $1.00 fee for the first page and $.50 (50 cents)
for each page thereafter.
If you need a history of incidents at a specific location, we need to know
the period of time involved and the street address. Not all records are computerized.
There is a fee for a manual search of the older records.
For more information please call the Longmont Fire Department at (303) 651-8437, Monday through Friday, 8am until 5pm.
