Department of Finance and Support Services

The function of the Finance and Support Services is service is to facilitate interaction between the City Council, City Manager, other City departments and the divisions within the Finance and Support Services Department. The Finance and Support Services Director supervises all financial functions of the City, as well as many other support services, including Accounting, Budget, Enterprise Technology Services, Fleet, Human Resources, Print Shop, Purchasing, Risk Management and Utility Billing. Finance and Support Services deals with the public regarding utility bills, accounts payable, sales and use taxes, cable television issues and municipal bonds. It is also primarily responsible for the administration of the City's defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans.
