Education Task Force, Multicultural Action Committee 
Goals
To work together to build networks that will:
- Strengthen educational processes and associated support services throughout out entire community
- Increase involvement in and understanding of education issues and resources
Contribute to higher levels of student achievement, particularly for Latino students.
Objectives
- Collaborate with media and/or other Longmont agencies to increase entire Longmont community awareness of bilingual educational
resources, services, and information
- Collaborate with existing entities to increase Latino parent involvement in the education systems decision-making process
- Work with St. Vrain School District to work towards decreasing the achievement gap
