Development Services Center - 385 Kimbark Street
In an effort to streamline the development review and building permit processes, a "one-stop" permit processing concept has been implemented with the opening of the Development Services Center in October 2007. What this means is that customers can get all their information, plan reviews and building permits at one place. Besides streamlining the processes, staff have moved offices into one area so customers no longer have to travel between remote locations throughout the City. The Old Museum and Old City Hall were remodeled at 385 Kimbark St. to accommodate the Economic Development divisions, including Planning and Development Services, Building Inspection, Economic Vitality, as well as offices for Longmont Power and Communication, Public Works, Water/Wastewater, and Fire Department representatives. Please check out our Development Services Center page for office hours and related links.
