Contact the Mayor and City Council
- The Mayor has an office in the Civic Center, 350 Kimbark Street, and is available by appointment only. To request an appointment, please call 303-651-8601 and, whenever possible, allow three weeks advance notice for your request.
- City Council Members can be reached several different
ways. All may be reached at the phone numbers or e-mails as listed on the Members page or by writing to them at their home addresses, or through the City Clerk's
Office at 350 Kimbark Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. Letters are forwarded to Council members every week along with their City
Council agenda packets.*Please note: all correspondence to City Council is public information and will be treated accordingly.
- City Council Meetings are held every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
at the Civic Center, Council Chambers at 350 Kimbark Street (corner of Kimbark
and 3rd Avenue) and broadcast live on our Local Cable Channel 3. View Council agendas and video archives .
- Coffee with Council is an open forum that is intended be an interactive and informal gathering where residents and members of the public have an opportunity to speak with elected officials on any topic. At least two City Council members will be in attendance at each gathering. “Coffee with Council” is scheduled for the last Saturday of the month and will be held at a local coffee house from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Schedule for Coffee with Council (pdf, 58.4kb).
- Town Meetings will focus on topics to be decided by Council in advance and at least three Council members will be in attendance. Town meetings will be held on the first Saturday of the second month of each quarter. The meetings will be scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and will be held at various public facilities throughout town with the goal of locating at least one in each of the three City Wards at least once each year.
