AGENDAS:
The Longmont City Council meets
in a regular session on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month and in
a study session the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Meetings begin
at 7:00 p.m. and are held in the City Council Chambers, located in the Civic
Center at 350 Kimbark Street, Longmont. The most
current agenda is updated Friday afternoon before 5:00 p.m. The schedule for upcoming City Council meetings is listed at the bottom of the most current agenda page. View agendas from prior Council meetings. If you ever need special assistance in order to participate in a City Council meeting, please contact Valeria Skitt, City Clerk, at 303-651-8649, in advance of the meeting to make arrangements.
The easiest way to know when the council agenda has been posted is to sign up for the City's e-alert system and select the category 'City Council News' as a preferred category. An e-alert is an automatic email system that will send you an email whenever the Council agenda has been posted or whenever there is important news related to City Council. Formal minutes of the Regular Sessions are prepared by the City Clerk's office and available for viewing two weeks
after the meeting date. If you would like copies of minutes from
prior meetings, please contact the City Clerk's office via city_clerk's_staff@ci.longmont.co.us or by calling (303) 651-8649.
Formal minutes of Study Sessions
are not kept. However, notes of these sessions are kept and can be obtained
upon request at the address or phone number listed above. When requesting
information about a Study Session, please provide us enough information to
help us identify what part of the meeting you are interested in receiving
notes about.
