- Member, Board of Environmental Affairs
- Attended nearly all Longmont City Council meetings since late 2007, as well as the Council's 2008 and 2009 retreats. Examine agenda "packet" in order to be knowledgeable about the issues before Council. Frequently share observations at Public Invited to be heard.
- Participated in the two-day workshop to determine the long-range vision for the Panattoni/Twin Peaks Mall and the surrounding area. Attended the Twin Peaks Mall Urban Renewal Plan reviews and contributed to the final version of the plan.
- A leader in the grassroots effort to prevent the LifeBridge Union Project on property just south of Union Reservoir.
- Contributor to Times-Call through Specials to the Times-Call and letters to the editor.
