The following list of apartments have agreed to make their rents affordable to households at or below certain income thresholds because of special funding they have received from various federal, state or city sources. Rents differ because of the size of the unit, amenities, or other reasons, but the rents should be below normal market rents for this area. Some apartment complexes could have waiting lists for the units, so you should be sure to ask if you can be put on their waiting list.
If your income is very low (below $18,000 for 1 person or below $26,000 for a 4 person family), you could be eligible for a Housing Choice Voucher. The Longmont Housing Authority (303) 651-8581 issues vouchers in Longmont. If you have a disabled family member you could also call the Center for People with Disabilities at (303) 442-8662. Again, there may be a waiting list for the vouchers, so be sure to ask if you can get on their waiting list.
