The Master Board of Appeals considers requests to determine the suitability of alternative materials and methods of construction and to consider requests for interpretation of the City's building and other technical codes.
The Master Board of Appeals meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month (unless it's a holiday) at 7:00 p.m. in the Civic Center Complex, City Council Chambers at 350 Kimbark Street. The current agenda is available online one week before the meeting. Formal minutes are prepared by the Building Inspection Division and are available for viewing after approval by the Board. Meeting dates, filing dates, agendas and minutes are provided below.
