Building Inspection -
If you are ready to obtain a building permit these can be issued at the Development Services Center located at 385 Kimbark Street, Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm. Applications can be obtained at the Center or by going to Building inspection Home Page/Applications.
To assist existing City businesses occupying locations within commercial, industrial and mixed use zoning districts with rebuilding and recovery after the recent flooding that affected Longmont, the City is offering a Business Recovery Grant program. FEMA requires that all residents register www.disasterassistance.gov. If you are denied FEMA coverage initially, please READ THE ENTIRE LETTER, as it outlines the possibility that you need to supply insurance information in order to receive assistance.

The generosity of the Longmont community has been enormous. As a result, we have had a large number of people who have stopped by the facility requesting to volunteer. All volunteers must register on line at www.helpcoloradonow.org. This organization is seeking all skill sets ranging from architects to administrative support. Applications submitted online will be matched up with the needs of Boulder County staffing. They will review these application and match volunteers appropriately which generally happens very quickly.
